Hi,
I am in a siber wredorick class. It is more for analyzing literary asspects online and how to make web site design more appealing. I know a little about HTML, but not enough to code this site in the limited time I have here. My class mates are using web site design template type programs. Specifically free ones. I have no money. Does anyone have any suggestions or advice? I'm really desperate here. Word press is not doing it for me. I find it very limiting accessibly, but if anyone has any ideas in regards to word press I'd be glad to here them. I've also heard about dreamweaver, but I don't have four hundred dollars to spend. I would really appreciate any imput at all.
Thanks

Nope, I've never used the web makers. I've been putting my nose to the grindstone and coding it out.

I'll probably do that in the long run, but I don't have time in a week. Just for future reference, google sites doesn't work well at all, weebly has drag and drop and there is no way around it, the extensive features of word press and blogger aren't quite accessible although the basics are, and learn HTML as children because otherwise you are in trouble. I'm so frustrated.

There are some Wordpress accessibility advice and themes available, supposedly enough to make Wordpress an accessible environment.
I can pm you with the links if you are interested, just say the word.
I haven't used them much, just a bit, and it seems to be working out fine. Dreamweaver is not so great from an accessibility perspective. I have it, but usually end up coding most things by hand because many of the Dreamweaver features are not very accessible.

It looks like you bit off more than you could chew with this one. To make a page in a week, that isn't really fair. But you could just try Freewebs.

Yeah, I didn't have a choice lol. But, I would appreciate the word press links. I use it for blogging, but haven't had luck with much more. PM or skype would be lovely

If you're short on time probably the best root to take would be to design the pages in word and save them as html files. The code that it generates is terrible, but it would function. This assumes of course that you will be able to create your website using html (A markup language) without using a scripting language such as JS or PHP.

Cheers.
